After deployment, but before scout/infiltrate etc... Nominate one piece of terrain in the enemy deployment zone (that is not a purchased fortification). Reduce the cover save of that terrain by 1 for the entirety of the game.
Master of Mechanisms, at the start of the shooting phase, the controlling player may choose to do the following options instead of shoot. Repair a vehicle (in base contact or embarked upon): Roll a D6 (+1 for mechatendrils). On a 5+, the vehicle may regain a lost Hull Point or repair a weapon destroyed/immobilised result. Curse: Roll to hit as per normal againt one enemy vehicle within 18". If successful, the enemy vehicles weapons have gets hot until the end of its next turn.
A Model with this rule must issue and accept challenges. Where there are multiple models with this rule, the controlling player may decide. Whenever a model with this rule kills a character, roll a D66 and consult the Chaos Boon chart. This boon remains for the rest of the game.
Independent characters can join other units. They cannot, however, join units that contain vehicles or Monstrous Creatures. They can join other Independent Characters, though, to form a powerful multi-character unit! Independent Characters pass Look Out, Sir rolls on a 2+. A unit that contains one or more Independent Characters does not need a double 1 to Regroup if reduced to below 25% of its starting numbres, but instead tests as if it had at least 25% remaining. Allows for multiple Infernal Relics to be taken per force.
