Legionary Drill Team

When calculating Combat Score, ignore the first two Health Point losses of Health Pools with Life is Cheap in each Round of Combat.
Note: the number of ignored Health Point losses is not affected by the amount of Health Pools.
Units containing Life is Cheap that are both Steady and Solid get +2 Discipline when taking Break Tests.

The model follows the rules for Attachable Models, with the following exceptions:
  • It can never perform Make Way moves (not even if it is also a Character).
  • Ranged Attacks and Special Attack allocated onto a unit with a War Platform joined to it can only target the War Platform if there are fewer than 5 Rank-and-File models (or fewer than 3 if they are of Height 3–5) in the unit. (If there are no Rank-and-File models in the unit, ignore this rule.)
  • Any given unit can never contain more than a single model with War Platform at a time. When the model is joined to a unit, its Mobility and Charge Speed is set to that of its unit, with the following exceptions:
  • If there are no Rank-and-File models from the unit in contact with the War Platform’s flank Facings (right and left side), the model must use its own Mobility and Charge Speed instead. Meaning that, if slower than the unit, the unit’s Mobility and Charge Speed are set to those of the War Platform.
  • The War Platform cannot use the unit’s Mobility and Charge Speed values when leaving the unit (including Charging out of it). Instead, it uses its own Mobility and Charge Speed.

This model must be Deployed inside a unit containing a Rank-and-File model, and cannot voluntarily leave its unit.

One use only.
Start of Vanguard Units (Battle Setup, 3.F), a unit containing Drill Down! may choose to be removed from the Battlefield. If so, the unit gains Ambush (Terrain Feature with a friendly Tunnel Marker).

This rule limits which units an Attachable Model is allowed to join.
  • Attachable Models with Exclusive (X) can only join units containing X.
  • Non-Attachable Models with Exclusive (X) can only be joined by Attachable Models with X.
  • If a unit has multiple instances of Exclusive, all criteria must be fulfilled together. The specific criteria for X can be unit names, Model Rules, Properties, upgrades, etc.
If a model has both Exclusive and Attached, apply all requirements from both rules (remember that a model that cannot be Deployed is considered a casualty).

A model part with a Grind Attack can make a Special Attack which is resolved at the model part’s Agility, and inflicts X hits, using the model part’s Strength, Armour Penetration, and Attack Attributes, but not Weapons.
Remember that attacks multiplied into several hits are allocated after establishing how many hits are scored (i.e. after the attack has hit).

During Combat Choices a model part can only choose Innate Weapons if it has no other options.
All model parts with Beast, Construct, or Mount come equipped with Innate Weapons as their default equipment and cannot lose them.
