Strikes before other enemies, regardless of Initiative or charges. If a unit has always strikes first and their initiative is higher or the same as the enemy unit, they may re-roll missed to hit dice. If two enemies have this rule, resolve who strikes first as though neither unit were affected. Always Strikes Last cancels out Always Strikes First.
- Forest Strider If more than half of the models are within a forest : - all the model shoot in one more rank than normal - all the models can make support attack with one extra rank (this rule is cumulative with other rules) - all the models (but not their mounts) re-roll 1's on close combat To-Wound rolls
The unit with this rule must choose at every turn between : - fast shot : Multiple Shots (2) - aimed shot : no armour save
Can be deployed normally or anyhwere on the field. in the second case they must be at 12'' from enemy unit and if their side start first they cannot charge if both have scout units roll , and then deploy alternatively the scout units
A Sniper’s shot suffers an additional -1 To Hit penalty, in addition to any other modifiers. Unless making a Stand and Shoot reaction, a model making a Sniper shot can shoot at a different target from the one chosen by his unit. A hit from a Sniper shot is not distributed in the same manner as other shooting attacks. The Sniper can shoot at any model he can see, including characters or champions within a unit and so on – the controlling player simply declares which model will be the Sniper’s target – “Look out Sir!” cannot be taken. A Sniper shot can even target a character riding on the back of a ridden monster or chariot if he wishes, or indeed a specific model where the target is usually rolled for randomly (such as a character who has joined a war machine).
