Beast
Beasts and cavalry move like infantry.


Beasts and cavalry fall back just like infantry, except that they move 3D6" due to their speed.


Beasts and cavalry have the ‘fleet’ special rule.


When assaulting they move up to 12". If assaulting through cover, beasts and cavalry are slowed by difficult terrain – roll for the distance they can move just as you would for infantry, but double the result of the highest scoring dice.
Entropic Strike
Any model that suffers one or more unsaved Wounds from a weapon or model with this special rule immediately loses its armour save for the remainder of the battle (effectively altering its armour save to '-'). For each hit a vehicle suffers from a weapon or model with this special rule, roll a D6. For each result of 4+, it immediately loses 1 point of Armour value from all facings. If a vehicle is reduced to Armour 0 on any facing, it is immediately wrecked.
Swarm
All swarms have the ‘stealth’ and ‘vulnerable to blasts/templates’ special rules. In addition, intervening swarms never offer any cover save to monstrous creatures or vehicles.

Abilities
Fearless:

Fearless troops automatically pass all Morale and Pinning tests they are required to take, and will never fall back. They can however go to ground voluntarily. This special rule is gained by any independent character joining a fearless unit. However, as long as a fearless character stays with a unit that is not fearless, he loses this special rule. If a unit that is falling back suddenly gains this rule, it will automatically regroup at the beginning of its next Movement phase, regardless of all normal restrictions on regrouping.

Note: units with the Fearless ability are subject to the No Retreat! rule.
