Shrewd Strategy Abilities
During the Select Crusade Blessings step, you can spend your Planning points to purchase one or more Shrewd Strategy abilities. All Planning points unspent at the end of this step are lost. Each time you purchase one of these abilities, select one **^^Genestealer Cults^^** unit in your Crusade army; until the end of the battle, that unit has that ability and the first time it is set up on the battlefield, place the relevant Shrewd Strategy ability token next to it to remind you (and your opponent) that you have upgraded that unit that battle. You can purchase the same Shrewd Strategy ability multiple times, but each unit cannot have more than one Shrewd Strategy ability per battle.

Note that if a unit with a Shrewd Strategy ability is destroyed during the battle and a new identical unit is added to your Crusade army as a result of the Cult Ambush ability, that unit does not have the Shrewd Strategy abilities that the original unit had.
Stealth
If every model in a unit has this ability, then each time a ranged attack is made against it, subtract 1 from that attack’s Hit roll.

Profiles:

Abilities
Deadly Crossfire:

In your Shooting phase, each time you select a Crossfire unit to shoot, you can select up to two other Crossfire units from your Crusade army that are eligible to shoot to perform a Deadly Crossfire, Then, you can select one enemy unit that would be an eligible target for one or more ranged weapons equipped by models in each of the selected Crossfire units. Until the end of the turn, that enemy unit is a Crossfire target.

Each time one of those selected Crossfire units makes a ranged attack, models in that unit can only target their Crossfire target, and:

  • If two Crossfire units were selected to perform a Deadly Crossfire against the at enemy unit, add 1 to the Hit roll.
  • If three Crossfire units were selected to perform a Deadly Crossfire against that enemy unit, add 1 to the Hit roll and add 1 to the Wound roll.
Shrewd Strategy:

You gain 6 Planning points, which you can spend to purchase Shrewd Strategy abilities to use during that battle.

Booby Traps

2 Planning points

Once per battle, at the start of the Command phase, if this unit is within range of one objective market you control, you can sabotage it. If you do, place this unit's Booby Trap token onto that objective marker (an objective marker cannot have more than one of these tokens on it at a time). While an objective marker has one of your Booby Trap tokens on it, it is Sabotaged, and each time an enemy unit ends a Normal, Advance, Fall Back or Charge move within range of that objective marker, roll one D6: on a 2+, that enemy unit suffers D3 mortal wounds, If, at the end of any phase or turn, that objective marker is under your opponent's control, remove your Booby Trap token from it.

Coordinated Assault
