Deep Strike

During the Declare Battle Formations step, if every model in a unit has this ability, you can set it up in Reserves instead of setting it up on the battlefield. If you do, in the Reinforcements step of one of your Movement phases you can set up this unit anywhere on the battlefield that is more than 9" horizontally away from all enemy models.

If a unit with the Deep Strike ability arrives from Strategic Reserves, the controlling player can choose for that unit to be set up either using the rules for Strategic Reserves or using the Deep Strike ability.

Fights First

Units with this ability that are eligible to fight do so in the Fights First step, provided every model in the unit has this ability.

Oath of Moment

If your Army Faction is Adeptus Astartes, at the start of your Command phase, select one unit from your opponent’s army. Until the start of your next Command phase, that enemy unit is your Oath of Moment target. Each time a model with this ability makes an attack that targets your Oath of Moment target:
■ You can reroll the Hit roll
■ If you are using a Codex: Space Marines Detachment and your army does not include one or more units with the Black Templars, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Deathwatch or Space Wolves keywords, add 1 to the Wound roll as well.

Abilities
Primarch of the First Legion: In your Command phase, select one Primarch of the First Legion abilities (see left). Until the start of your next Command phase, this model has that ability.
The Emperor's Shield: Each time a melee attack is allocated to this model, on an unmodified saving throw of 6, the attacking unit suffers 1 mortal wound after it has finished making its attacks.
Dark Angels Bodyguard: While this model is within 3" of one or more friendly Adeptus Astartes Infantry units, this model has the Lone Operative ability.
Invulnerable save: 3+

Primarch of the First Legion
All Secrets Revealed: Once per turn, when your opponent targets a unit from their army with a Stratagem but before that Stratagem’s effects are resolved, if that unit is within 12" of this model, you gain 1CP and that enemy unit must take a Battle-shock test. If that test is failed, in addition to that unit being Battle-shocked, that Stratagem’s effects are not resolved (that Stratagem still counts as having been used this phase).
Martial Exemplar [Aura]: While a friendly Adeptus Astartes unit is within 6" of this model, each time a model in that unit makes a melee attack, add 1 to the Hit roll.
No Hiding From the Watchers [Aura]: While a friendly Adeptus Astartes unit is within 6" of this model, models in that unit have the Feel No Pain 4+ ability against mortal wounds.
