Shard of Skoll(Talisman) The Shard adds +1 to the score of every dice rolled when making a Dispel attempt, up to a maximum of 6. Note that this makes automatic failure impossible, and automatic success far more likely. Only one Shard can be used against a single spell. If the Dispel attempt was successful, the Shard is destroyed, shattered by the magic it absorbs, but otherwise it can be retained and used again.
