Mass Points
The Harridan has 3 mass points
Scything Claws
Instead of firing its bio-cannons the Harridan may use its scything claws to swoop down on the enemy and attack in close combat. TO do this the Harridan is moved into contact with an enemy unit - it can still be fired at as normal. It then makes it two attacks. Afterwords the Harridan flies off using the normal flyer rules.
Gargoyle Brood
The Gargoyle Brood can be deployed as if disembarking from a vehicle. Place the Gargoyle Brood on the table with 2" of the Harridan. They may move as normal in the Tyranid player's next turn.
If the Harridan is hit by a blast weapon while the Gargoyles are attacked then the Gargoyles are hit as well. If the Harridan is shot down then the Gargoyles immediately deploy from the point where the Harridan was destroyed.
Scything Talons
Creatures with scything talons count as having two close combat weapons in an assault and so gain +1 attack. Creatures with two sets of scything talons gain +2 Attacks. Ranged weapons that base their number of shots on the owner's Attacks do not gain additional shots.
Tyranid Monstrous Creatures
-Automatically passes any Morale checks and cannot be pinned


-Can allocate close combat attacks to a specific enemy in base-to-base contact and shoot at enemies not targeted by it's joined unit


-May re-roll Difficult Terrain unless joined to a unit


-Ignores enemy Armor Saves in close combat and roll S+2D6 for vehicle armor penetration


-Counts as a unit of troops for victory conditions
Flyers
-Starts in reserve and moves only in a straight line


-Roll a die for them each turn starting with the 2nd round, as usual for a reserve unit


-Place on any table edge facing the desired direction. Cannot shoot or be shot at until it makes it's attack run


-Move flyer to desired distance following the opponent's Movement Phase but before their shooting phase


-Attacks following the opponent's shooting phase


-Can pivot up to 45 degrees before or after making it's attack (but not both) unless Shaken or Stunned


-Can fire all weapons regardless of distance moved


-Can make further attack runs on rolls of +2


TARGETING FLYERS:


-Attacker cannot use Ordnance or Barrage weapons


-Add 12" to range measurement


-Hits only on a roll of 6


-All successful hits are glancing. 


-Stunned and shaken results prevent Flyer from attacking. Immobilized results destroy the Flyer
