If the vehicle is destroyed, D3 crew members survive. They form a small unit placed within 2" of their vehicle. Each one is armed with a lasgun or laspistol and has the same stats as a basic Guardsman. They are considered to be below half strength for the purposes of morale checks, claiming table quarters, etc. They are worth zero victory point on their own, but their vehicle counts as being damaged for victory point purposes while the crew lives.
