Sanctioned Psyker Powers
The psyker has one Psychic ability, selected at random by rolling a dice and consulting the table below:
1 - No usable power
2 - Telepathic Order
3 - Psychic Ward
4 - Psychic Lash
5 - Machine Curse
6 - Lightning Arc
Advisor
Commissars, Priests and Sanctioned Psykers are Advisors. For each type of Advisor, one must be assigned to the Command HQ. Any others of that type are then allocated to Platoon HQ squads. If all Command and Platoon HQ squads have an Advisor of that type, then the remainder join infantry squads, armoured first squads or storm trooper squads.
It's For Your Own Good!
If a Sanctioned Psyker attached to the same unit as a Commissar suffers a Perils of the Warp attack, the Commissar will immediately execute him to prevent him from being possessed. Remove the Psyker as a casualty without triggering the power or the Perils of the Warp.
Telepathic Order
The Psyker extends the zone of influence of an Officer he is accompanying. Use at the start of the Imperial Guard turn. If the test is passed, the Leadership radius of the Officer in the same squad as the Psyker is extended to 18" until the start of the next Imperial Guard turn.
Psychic Ward
If a psychic power would normally affect the Sanctioned Psyker or the unit he is accompanying, make a Psychic test. If the test is passed then roll a D6. On a 4+ the power is cancelled.
Psychic Lash
Make a Psychic test at the start of the Imperial Guard Assault phase. If successful, the power remains in phase until the start of the next Imperial Guard Assault phase. Thje Psyker's may choose to use the Lash in place of its normal attacks. The Psyker gets D3 Attacks (with no bonuses) at Strength 3, with any wounds ignoring Armour saves.
Machine Curse
Make the Psychic test at the start of the Assault phase. If passed the power is effective until the end of the same Assault phase. Make one close combat attack against a vehicle in base contact with the Psyker. If a hit is scored, roll a D6:
1 - 3: No effect
4 - 5: Inflict Glancing Hit
6 : Inflict Penetrating Hit
