Dorden allows his unit to ignore both the first and second failed armor saving throw each turn. He may not use this ability if he is in base-to-base contact with any enemy models.
Dorden may not ever fire his laspistol in the Shooting phase, but may use it as a weapon in the Assault phase.
Any Tanith squad adds +1 to any cover saves they are allowed. In addition, opponents roll 2D6x2 instead of 2D6x3 when attempting to spot Tanith troops in a Night Fight.
Medi-packs allow a unit with a medic to ignore the first failed saving throw it rolls in every turn. The medi-pack may not be used on any model which suffers instant death or that has been hit by a close combat weapon that allows no Amrour save. It may not be used if the medic is in base contact with an enemy model.
A unit led by a person who carries a trademark item may re-roll any failed Morale or Pinning checks it suffers. However, if the character is slain, the unit must pass a Morale test to avoid falling back.
