Loner
For the purposes of mission objectives, Lictors cannot capture table quarters, hold objectives, or count as scoring units.
Stealth
A Lictor always receives a 5+ cover save, even in the open. If the Lictor is actually in cover, its Cover Saving throw is improved by +2 (to a maximum of 2+), so for example it would receive a +3 Cover Save in woods or jungles. A Lictor gains no benefits from its stealth while in close combat, reverting to its natural 5+ Armour Save for its chitinous armour.
Fearless
Fearless troops never have to fall back and are assumed to automatically pass any morale test they are required to take. They can never be pinned. This special rule is gained by any independent character joining a Fearless unit. Also, as long as a Fearless character stays inside a non-Fearless unit, he loses this special rule.
Hit & Run
This special rule is automatically lost by an independent character joining a unit that does not have this special rule, and vice versa.

Models with this ability may choose to leave close combat. Declare this at the end of the Close Combat phase. The unit using the Hit & Run ability must be involved in combat, and will immediately move 3D6" in a straight line in any direction, ignoring the units they are locked with. This move may not be used to move into contact with any enemy models. The break-off move is automatically successful and is not subject to sweeping advance. The enemy can consolidate normally, however.
