Daemonic:
- Restriction: models carrying this rule are 'Daemonic'
- Result:
- unit joining: a character and a unit must either both carry this rule or both lack it
- universal special rules granted to each Daemonic model: Daemonic Instability, Fear, Daemonic Psychology, Magical Attacks, Unbreakable, Warp-spawned
|
Daemon of Nurgle:
- Restriction: Daemon of Nurgle
- Result:
- gains Hatred (Daemons of Tzeentch)
- an enemy model attacking it in the Combat phase re-rolls natural 6s To Hit
|
Loner:
- Restriction: Loner
- Result:
- A character with Loner cannot be General; it joins only units with Loner
- Units with Loner cannot be joined by characters lacking it
|
Poisoned Attacks:
- Restriction: model with Poisoned Attacks
- Condition: natural 6 on a roll To Hit; does not work if a hit roll of 7+ is needed or the attack hits automatically
- Result: +2 on the roll To Wound for that hit (optional)
- Valid in shooting and combat unless stated otherwise
- Excluded: the model's own spells, attacks from magic weapons
|
Random Attacks:
- Restriction: model with Random Attacks
- Result: no standard Attacks characteristic; a dice expression stands in (e.g. D3+1)
- Each combat attack action: roll the dice for the attack count, then roll To Hit as usual
- Fighting rank with 2+ such models: one roll per model, except where stated otherwise
|
Regeneration:
- Restriction: model with Regeneration (X+), where X+ is its Regeneration value
- Timing: immediately after a Wound is lost, ahead of removing models at 0 Wounds
- Result: a "Regeneration save" roll of 1D6 (optional): on X+ the Wound comes back, but still counts toward the combat result
- Effects altering armour values do not touch the Regeneration value, unless stated otherwise.
|
| Skirmishers: Such a unit is allowed to take up a Skirmish formation. |
Scouts:
- Timing: deployment, once the rest of both armies is down (optional)
- Select: any spot over 12" from every enemy model
- Result: if placed this way, no charge declarations by these Scouts in their first turn
- both sides with Scouts: roll-off winner places first; then alternate, a unit at a time
|
Insignificant:
- Restriction: Swarms
- Result:
- a line of sight may be traced over a swarm as if nothing stood there
- when checking whether an enemy character may be targeted, swarms are ignored
|
No One Cares:
- Restriction: Swarms
- Result: whatever happens to a swarm, it causes no Panic among friendly units
|
Undisciplined:
- Restriction: unit with this rule
- Result: the army's General cannot lend it Inspiring Presence, and a Battle Standard cannot lend it "Hold your Ground"
- Related: Swarms
