Description: The Active Player adds additional Magic Dice to their pool, up to the maximum allowed by Excess Magic, from the following sources:
• A free additional Magic Dice.
• Magic Dice from models with Channel.
• Magic Dice stored from the previous phase (see Storing Magic).
Note: Each non-Shaken model with Channel(X) adds +X Magic Dice, the most common source of Channel are Wizards:
• Wizard Masters have Channel(2).
• Wizard Adepts have Channel(1).
• Wizard Conclaves have Channel(1), unless it is a Wizard Conclave (1).

Forgive my tardiness, but I’d just seen a paper by that buffoon of a provost from Eichtal, claiming that the Flux responds to the seniority of the mage who calls upon it. Naturally I had to write a treatise in response – the Flux is simply the vulgar term for the flow of magic into and around our Realm, and all proper experiments demonstrate that though a wizard might draw more of this substance to themselves by “channelling”, they cannot increase the total magical resources in the vicinity, which is entirely random. Thank goodness I was in time to correct you on that!
