Command Tests

(Rule)
Description:

To perform a Command Test, roll a D6. If the result is 3+, the test is passed. Otherwise, it fails. Certain rules, abilities and situations may modify this roll. The most common ones are due to Model Rules such as: Disciplined, Mindless, Musician, and Unruly. See Model Rules for details.

The most common situations where Command Tests are taken are:

  • When attempting to Redirect a Charge. Remember this can only be attempted once per phase, per unit.

  • When attempting to perform a Combat Reform,
when on the losing side of a Combat; if Engaged in a Flank or the Rear.

  • When taking a Rally Test. See Rally Phase chapter for details.
