"A Command Model with this Special Rule unlocks an Apex Detachment, but awards Victory Points for Slay the Warlord." An Army may not include more than one Model with this Special Rule. If a Model with this Special Rule is selected to fill a Command Slot in any Detachment in the Crusade Force Organisation Chart, then the Controlling Player may select one Apex Detachment instead of the Auxiliary Detachment usually granted by filling a Command Slot. Additionally, a Model with this Special Rule counts as being a High Command Choice for the purposes of any version of the Slay the Warlord (X) Secondary Objective.
