Summary:

Melta Mines may be triggered by larger war machines.

Setup:

Each Melta Minefield Marker must be set up by the Player that selected it at the end of the Prepare the Battlefield Step of the Mission Sequence.

Effect:

If a Unit that contains any Models with the Walker or Vehicle Types ends a move within 6" of the centre of a Melta Minefield Marker, the Controlling Player of that Unit must roll a number of Dice for each Model from that Unit that is within 6" of the centre of that Melta Minefield Marker. The number of Dice rolled for each Model is equal to the Base Wounds or Hull Points Characteristic of that Model. For each mine that is triggered, the Unit suffers a Hit, resolved against the weakest Armour Facing (if the unit has Armour Values) with a Strength of 9, an AP of 2, and a Damage of 2.

How To Destroy:

Once these its have been resolved, the Controlling Player of the Unit whose move triggered a mine rolls a Dice. On a 4+, that Melta Minefield Marker is removed from the Battlefield.
