This special rule confers various benefits covered in the core rules.
Shield-X
This Group has a Shield Save of X+. After Weapons have been assigned to this Group or Assets attack this Group, you may declare the use of Shield Saves for this Group. If you do, this Group replaces its Energy and Kinetic Saves with their Shield Saves for that attack sequence. Shield Saves can be used against Energy, Kinetic, and Core damage and ignore any modifiers to Energy and Kinetic Saves. Backup Saves may then be used after Shield Saves as normal.
A Group gains a single Spike each time it uses its Shield saves (regardless of the number of saves made per use).
Hits caused by Boarding Actions cannot be saved by Shield Saves.
Vectored
This Ship may make an additional turn at any point during its movement, regardless of the Order its Group has taken.
Void Skip
If this ship goes on General Quarters when within 6” of a Ship with the Gateship special rule, rather than making a normal move, you may place it within 6” of any other Gateship in that Gateship’s chain (within 18” of each other as normal), facing any direction. If it does, it gains a Spike. It may be put in either Orbit or Atmosphere, regardless of the Voidgate it is placed by. When doing this, the whole group must move together.
