Vanguard-X Groups with this rule may begin the game Directly Deployed, ignoring the normal Scenario Deployment and Approach Types (though still counting towards Groups Directly Deployed). If it does, it may be deployed up to X” away from your Deployment Zone.
Oculus Booster At the end of this Ship’s activation, you may place an Oculus token on an enemy Group in line of sight in this Ship’s Front Arc. Unused Oculus tokens placed by this Ship persist between rounds and are only removed when this Ship would place another Oculus token or when a Ship with an Oculus token goes on the Silent Running order.
When you assign "Oculus" weapons to a Group that has an Oculus Token, you may remove the token. If you do, one of the Group's “Oculus” Weapon Systems replaces its Scald-X rule with Reave-X (of the same value) against that Group for that attack.
