Duct Tape and Bubblegum

When a friendly Ship of M, H, or C tonnage is destroyed by damage from an opponent's attack (including any Crippling or Explosion Effects), it remains in play until the start of the End Phase. At the start of the End Phase, roll for explosion and remove that Ship from play. That Ship counts as destroyed.
