Bloom-X
Whenever you fire this Weapon (including separate attacks generated by the Volley-X special rule), the attacking Group gains X Spikes.
Crippling-X
If an attack from this Weapon scores at least one Critical hit and then damages a Ship (following normal damage allocation rules), the damaged Ship gains the stated X Crippling Effect regardless of Tonnage. If no effect is listed, roll 2D6 and apply the corresponding Crippling Effect (from the Crippling Effect table).
Crippling Effects caused by Crippling Weapons are in addition to those caused by 7.3.6 Roll for Crippling Effects.
Except for Fire, a Ship can only have one of each type of Crippling Effect token at a time (Spikes are not a Crippling Effect), even when placed from different sources or at different times. Any duplicate effects are ignored and discarded.
Critical-X
Each of this Weapon’s criticals increases the damage of that hit by X.
Focused
Instead of the normal potential targets for Weapons, this Weapon’s potential targets are either:
• A single enemy Ship.
• A Dropsite containing no friendly Battalions.
Damage caused by this Weapon is allocated to only the target.
High Power
Unless the attacking Ship is on the Weapons Free Order, attacking with this Weapon counts as attacking with two Weapons (though it only fires once).
Ships with only a single High Power Weapon can only attack with it while on the Weapons Free Order.
Spinal Mass Annihilator
If damage from this weapon or any Crippling Effect it would cause would destroy a ship, remove that ship from the game without rolling for Explosion.
