Any Loyalist Titan equipped with a Warp Missile can be upgraded with a Vortex Payload for +20 points. A maximum of one Titan with a Warp Missile may be upgraded with a Vortex Payload for each maniple within the battlegroup. The upgraded Titans do not have to be part of different maniples so long as the requirement is met. Each of the Titan’s weapons must be upgraded separately. A Warp Missile upgraded with a Vortex Payload loses the Warp trait and gains the Vortex trait. However, the X value of the Limited trait cannot be changed in any way, i.e., it will always be Limited (1).
