Titans in this maniple can choose to move outside og their forward arc (see Sidestepping and Backing Up on p.30 of the AT2018 Rulebook) at their full movement rather then having to use 2" of movement for every 1" moved. Titans may not use their boosted speed with moving outside of their Front arc.
