Bike
Bikes are large, solid constructions, and are often fitted with protective armour and shields to deflect and absorb incoming fire. Bike riders benefit from the protection offered by their bike, which increases their Toughness characteristic by 1. Note that this increase does not affect the model’s Toughness for the purposes of instant death.

Bikes can move up to 12" in the Movement phase. Bikes are not slowed down by difficult terrain. However, they treat all difficult terrain as dangerous terrain instead.

Bikes also have the ‘Turbo-Boosters’ special rule.

As bikes are so fast moving, they fall back 3D6", rather than 2D6". Remember that they treat all difficult terrain as dangerous.

Bikes cannot run in the Shooting phase.
Bikes have the ‘relentless’ special rule

Each bike in a unit may fire with one weapon for each rider on the bike. Thus a Space Marine Attack Bike with a driver and passenger in sidecar can fire two weapons.

Bike assault moves are not slowed down by difficult terrain. However, each model entering or moving through difficult terrain, or assaulting an enemy who is standing in difficult terrain or behind an obstacle, must take a dangerous terrain test.

Abilities
Bike of the Aporkalypse:

Wazdakka follows the rules for Warbikes. Furthermore, when Wazdakka's bike uses a Turbo Boost he may still fire his weapon that turn.

Independent Character:

Independent characters follow the Movement rules for models of their type, be it infantry, jump infantry, bike, etc. In addition, independent characters can move through difficult terrain more quickly and safely than ordinary troops. All independent characters have the ‘move through cover’ and ‘skilled rider’ special rules. This advantage does not extend to any vehicles they may be travelling in.

Independent characters are allowed to join other units. They cannot, however, join vehicle squadrons (see the Vehicles section) and units that always consist of a single model (like most vehicles and monstrous creatures). They can join other independent characters though, to form a powerful multi-character unit!

Furious Charge:

In a turn in which they assaulted into combat they add +1 to both their Initiative and Strength characteristics when attacking in close combat (note that this has no effect on the Initiative tests for sweeping advances).

Mob Rule!:

Ork mobs may always choose to substitute the number of Orks in their mob for their normal Leadership value. If an Ork mob numbers 11 or more models, it has the Fearless special rule.

Waaagh!:

Once per game, the Ork player can declare a Waaagh! during his Shooting phase. This may not normally be declared on the first turn, all friendly Ork infantry units have the 'fleet' rule (not Gretchin units, they're far too weedy for a proper Waaagh!).

If a unit rolls a 1 when making this Waaagh! movement, the Orks start fightin before they get to the enemy. One model from that unit takes a single wound. Note that the unit may still move an inch, and assault as normal.

Mek's Tools:

If a Mekboy or Big Mek is inside (or in base contact with) a vehicle at the beginning of his Shooting phase, he can attempt to repair a single Weapon Destroyed or Immobilised result instead of shooting. Roll a D6 - on the roll of a 4+ the result is negated. This could allow a previously destroyed weapon to fire in that Shooting phase. On the roll of a 1, the Mek gets a bit carried away and the vehicle counts as shaken.

Stikkbomb:

Stikkbombz count as frag grenades in all respects.

Bosspole:

Each time a unit with a Bosspole fails a Morale test you may choose to inflict a wound on that unit (not on the model with the bosspole) in order to re-roll that Morale test.
