You can always choose for a unit affected by this saga in the Fight phase to fight first even if they didn't charge. If the enemy has units that have charged, or that have a similar ability, then alternate chooseing units to fight with, starting with the player whose turn is taking place. Deed of Legend: Slay an enemy CHARACTER with your Warlord.
