The bearer can release the Vanhel's Danse Macabre spell contained in the Hook once per Magic phase like an ordinary spell. No power is necessary to cast the spell as the Book provides all the power required.
Roll a D6 each time the Book is used. On a result of 1 Its powers are temporarily exhausted and the Book cannot he used again that battle
