Vanguard

After deployment, units with Vanguard may perform a pre-game Move Manoeuvre (Reform, Advance, or March Move), with the following exceptions:


  • If an X is given, the unit’s Mobility is set to always X" during this move.

  • No model can move further than 12" during this move, regardless of its Mobility.

  • It cannot move within 6" of an enemy unit.

  • Attachable Models cannot leave a unit as part of this move.

If both players have units with Vanguard, they alternate moving units one by one, starting with the unit that the Defender chose for Defender's Advantage.

A unit that starts the game outside its own Deployment Zone cannot declare a Charge in the first Player Turn of the first Game Turn.
