Units, attacks and spells can have key words called Properties attached to them. Properties describe the unit’s origin, allegiance, elemental effects of its attacks, or other defining attributes. Properties can always be identified by their names being displayed in grey and italics.
Properties are rules that do not possess any innate or direct effects. Instead properties are only used as triggers for other rules. For example, a rule might restrict characters from joining a unit unless it possesses the right Clan Property.
