Make Way

Sometimes characters find themselves Engaged in Combat, but not in contact with any enemy models. When this happens, the Character may be eligible for a Make Way move.

To be able to perform a Make Way move, the Character:

  • Must be in the First Rank of its unit.

  • Must not be in contact with any enemy models.

  • Must not have a Mismatching Bases.

Make Way moves are performed when Choosing Equipment and Abilities. The Character switches positions with a Rank-and-File model or models in its unit that is in contact with an enemy. The Characters must end up in a legal position. Normally this means that the Character can only swap positions with models in the Front Rank.
