Description: Many models have choices that are done in this step of the Round of Combat sequence. Common ones include the choice of which Melee Weapon to use for models with multiple Melee Weapons, and Characters can Make Way, see Character chapter for details.
If both players have choices to do in this step, the Active Player first makes and executes all of their choices, before the Reactive Player makes and executes their choices.
In the first Round of Combat* model parts must choose whice weapon to use, if armed with multiple weapons, following this priority list:
• All identical Rank-and-File model parts must choose the same weapon
• An enchanted weapon
• Any weapon that is neither a Hand Weapon, nor Innate Weapons
• A Hand Weapon*
• Innate Weapons
*A model part with Weapon Master, may choose each Round, and can freely choose weapon as long as following priority 1. and 2.
