Description: During the Shooting Phase, units containing Shooting Weapons or relevant Model Rules can perform Shooting Attacks. Select a friendly unit as the shooting unit and an enemy unit as the target unit. See Allocating Attacks in the Attacks chapter for further details.
• Shooting unit: Units eligible to shoot must not:
• Be Shaken,
• Be Engaged in Combat,
• Have performed a Failed Charge move this Player Turn
• Have Marched this Player Turn (unless it has March and Shoot), or
• Already used their Shooting Attack this Player Turn.
• Target unit: Units eligible as targets must
• Be within the shooting unit’s Line of Sight, and
• Not be Engaged in Combat.
Target Facing
When checking Line of Sight from a shooting model to the target, also simultaneously check which Facing is the Target Facing. This is done by establishing in which Arc of the target unit the centre of the Front Facing of the shooting unit’s is located in. The corresponding Facing is referred to as Target Facing (i.e. the same rules as for charging).
