Flagship

A flagship is a ship equipped with a commander card. Some objective cards include special rules for flagships.

Any ship can be a flagship regardless of the upgrade icons in its upgrade bar.
A fleet must have one flagship and cannot have more than one.
Each flagship must be assigned a flagship ID token pair of the appropriate faction.

When a friendly ship or squadron is destroyed, you may choose 1 friendly ship or unique squadron at distance 1-5 of the destroyed ship or squadron. If you do, the chosen ship or unique squadron may either ready 1 of its defense tokens or recove 1 of its discarded defense tokens and then exhaust that token.
